Pay
close attention this week, for we will see a direct reflection
of what and who we actually are in every person we meet,
and each situation we are in.

There will
be mirrors all around us. Look deep into them; what and
who you see standing before you will help you to decide
who you really want to be for the rest of your life. Do
you like who you see looking back at you? Only you can change
the person you see. Of course there are people to help you,
but it is your choice. Life is YOUR looking glass.
For
the week of October 26, 2008
We
are approaching this election, and thank the Universe that
it is almost over. It is just making the energy so strange
in the world. Many of you are still asking, but I still do
not know who will win. I just know it is not a job I would
want.

This week the energies bring us compensation
of an unexpected nature. We find that there is a return on
an investment of time that we had not anticipated, and that
there is indeed richness in an area we had not paid attention
to. Those acts of unconditional kindness and love do indeed
return to us greatly magnified.

Sunday was so peaceful and calm, that
I stayed in bed and read books all day long. I could tell
many of you were settled in too--not one call from anyone.

Monday information starts rolling in
again, and we remember "Oh yes, this is my life!"
A lot of you are feeling a need to change jobs, but please
realize that this is fear, unless you are working somewhere
that you have been told "It's probably time to start
looking for a new job." If you have a paycheck, stay
there. It will not be forever, so fight the urge to leave.

Tuesday will be another wild TV news
day. It may be better to not watch it. There will not be anything
you want to really know anyway.
The rest of this week will be full of
ups and downs. Remember, this too will pass. Enjoy the people
you love, and the fact that you are here to celebrate them
and your own life.

If you see a woman in line in
front on you, trying to buy food for her kids, and all she
is short is a few bucks, step up and give it to her if you
can. If not, offer a smile and help to relieve her angst.
Do not worry about embarrassing her, because we need to help
each other now. This will come back to you in wonderful ways.

What had been given with no strings,
is flowing back to those who had not expected it. For those
who have given without expectation there is richness, a lesson
for everyone that unconditional charity, while a gift in itself,
sets in motion an even greater gift. The universal balance
is illustrated in our lives. What we have sent out is returned
to us in acts and words.

Our investment in this life is shown
to us by what returns to us. It is a wonderful surprise that
happens to some people, and a large lesson to others. Observe
and shift if it is appropriate, for this lesson will be repeated
often through lifetimes. Those who understand the process
can only be enriched by it, not only in spirit but in the
physical as well.

I
am here if you need me.

LAST
WEEKEND: Oct 25-26:
From the site
http://www.skywatchastrology.com:
The
Moon in reliable Virgo sails through calm seas on Saturday.
So its an excellent day to take the kitty to the vet,
balance your checkbook, and to fix something healthy for
dinner--all Virgo strengths. Evening hours hold a note of
tension as the Moon squares inflexible Pluto at 8 PM and
turns V/C until she enters Libra at 9:47 PM. And the level
of static increases later on--save the long talk for another
night.

Communication problems, misunderstandings
and perhaps a severe storm somewhere are all more likely
Sunday morning, as Mercury squares Jupiter at 7:14 AM. Smells
like you burnt the toast, too. But astrological skies begin
to clear on the other side of the square and green lights
come on for work or play. The kiss of the day appears at
4:15 PM when the Moon sextiles Venus--this is a good time
to make some calls or to shop for something expensive. Clear
skies follow into the evening hours--reach out. As times
change.

All times given are US Central time. That's Chicago on the
World Clock.

This
was sent to me by an astrologer friend of mine: lindalee650@aol.com.
It can be complex for non-astrologers, but you will get
the general idea. Not written by me:
Dear
Friends,

The next New Moon, which forms on
Tuesday, October 28 at 4:14 PM PDT at 6º Scorpio, marks
a spiritual crossroads, where the consequences of our choices
are particularly momentous. The old paradigm is dying; a
new one struggles to be born. Will we cling to the old,
or move toward the new? Fear is a sign that we are on a
frontier, advancing where creation has not yet gone. Pluto,
the modern ruler of Scorpio, represents the descent into
the Underworld, the unknown terrain of the unconscious,
a purgatory where we discover that sin means only to
miss the mark, to mistake the transitory for the sacred.
Scorpio teaches us that there is no real death, only a constant
metamorphosis; the infinite, eternal dance of spirit in
matter.

Saturn is the symbol of established
form and convention; Uranus, the symbol of reform and unconventionality.
The contrast between the US major party candidates mirrors
their approaching opposition. Conservative John McCain reflects
the archetype of Saturn; at age 72, he would be the oldest
man ever inaugurated as president. Barack Obama --the first
biracial candidate for the Oval Office, who at 47 would
be one of the youngest presidents in US history, embodies
Uranus, the energy of new possibilities and progress.

Saturn and Uranus oppose each other
only every 45 years or so; the first of five exact oppositions*
occurs on November 4, 2008, the very day of the US presidential
election (at 19º Virgo-Pisces. The New Moon aspects both
Saturn and Uranus, adding to the build up of this extremely
dynamic alignment. Venus in Sagittarius moves into an exact
square to Saturn and Uranus on November 3, further energizing
the conflict between old and new, established and experimental.
(*The next exact Saturn-Uranus oppositions occur on 2/5/09,
9/15/09, 4/26/09, and 7/26/09).

The previous time Saturn opposed Uranus
was 196567, a period of tremendous social, political,
and cultural turmoil, along with extraordinary creativity,
massive civil rights and antiwar demonstrations, Eastern
spiritual traditions coming to the West, Chinas Cultural
Revolution in the East, space-walks by Soviet and
US astronauts, and the first commercial microcomputers.
Saturn was then in mid Pisces, opposing Uranus in mid Virgo
(1224°), with both greatly intensified by Pluto
in Virgo and Chiron in Pisces. Oppositions relate back to
the last time the two planets were in conjunction; those
occurred at 2729° Sagittarius in 1988, which marked
the end of the Cold War, the beginning of the Red Armys
withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Iran-Contra Affair, the
first Fair Trade label, and Jesse Jacksons bid for
the Democratic presidential nomination.

Several other aspects add to the
revolutionary tailwinds around this New Moon. Chiron, the
archetype of the Wounded Healer, ends its five-month retrograde
phase on Saturday, October 25. (Chiron stationed retrograde
on May 25 at 21º09 Aquarius; it turns direct
at 16º02 Aquarius, and once again reaches 21ºº09
on February 9, 2009). During a retrograde period, we discover
the patterns and release the beliefs which have been holding
us back. Chiron in Aquarius supports healing the wounds
of alienation incurred from being an agent of change. Those
wounds close as we find and join with other resonant souls
who have also chosen to be on the front lines of the Aquarian
Age.

On
November 1, Neptune ends its yearly retrograde phase, amplifying
the call to manifest the ideals of the Aquarian Age--to
shift from hierarchy to collaboration, from war to peace,
from separation to unity. Neptune turned retrograde on May
26 at 24º15° Aquarius and direct at 21º28 Aquarius.
And just in case we need a further nudge, at the beginning
of November, the Sun squares the degree of the last solar
eclipse (August 1 at 10° Leo), impelling us to take
a giant step forward, personally and collectively.

What are your dreams? What are your fears? What is your
truth? Everyone counts. Everyone matters. Everyone makes
a difference.

"Remember, we are all affecting the world every
moment, whether we mean to or not. Our actions and states
of mind matter, because we are so deeply interconnected
with one another. Working on our own consciousness is the
most important thing that we are doing at any moment, and
being love is a supreme creative act."
